Improving Lives Through Community-Driven Initiatives

Our Programs

We’re proud to offer a variety of programs that support and uplift the Del Valle community. Explore each initiative below to find out how we’re making a difference and how you can get involved!

Food Access Programs

  • Community Fridge

    • The Del Valle Community Fridge is a lifeline for residents in an area where affordable, healthy food options are scarce. Designed as a "take what you need, leave what you can" resource, it provides free, fresh, and nutritious food to anyone in need.

    • Community fridges are more than just a place to access food—they are a symbol of care, resilience, and mutual aid. In food deserts like ours, where grocery stores are limited and fresh produce is often inaccessible, these fridges bridge the gap, ensuring that no one goes hungry. Together, we’re building a stronger, healthier community, one meal at a time.

    • Join us in keeping the fridge stocked and accessible for all!

Education Opportunities

Scholarships : Empowering Futures

  • At Del Valle Community Coalition, we believe education is the foundation for a brighter future. Our Empowering Futures Scholarship supports local students in achieving their academic goals by providing financial assistance for higher education.

  • In 2024, we proudly awarded $5,000 in scholarships to three Del Valle ISD students, helping them take the next step toward college success. These scholarships ease the financial burden on families and open doors to greater opportunities.
