About the event
Today we are talking about an important topic. Every 10 years, every person living in the United States - regardless of origin or status - is required to fill out the Census. For every person counted, federal funding for our local schools, transportation dollars for roads and buses, and healthcare services are all based on the Census. Representation for Congress, State House seats, and even school board members, are based on Census data. A lot is at stake!
During today’s conversation we will be going over the community benefits of having an accurate count, the process of filling out the census, what’s on it and what’s NOT, and take any questions you might have.
