The Del Valle Turkey Trot isn’t just a race—it’s a race against hunger. Every step you take helps provide meals for families in our community this holiday season.
Last year, thanks to participants like you, we were able to support 400 families at our 2nd annual Turkey Drive in the Del Valle community. This year, our goal is to reach 500 families, and we can’t do it without your help!
Whether you run, walk, volunteer, or sponsor, your involvement makes a real difference. Join us, have fun, and help put food on the table for families in need.

Lace Up and Dash into the 3rd Annual Del Valle Turkey Trot!
We’re “running” on excitement to invite you to our 3rd Annual Del Valle Turkey Trot! Whether you’re a seasoned sprinter, looking to get out and get active or just here to support your friends, this community event has something for everyone. We’ll be dashing through the Del Valle High School campus, with different activities that will keep your whole flock moving.
This holiday season, our mission is simple: ensure families stay fed and supported. Many households face uncertainty, and the holidays can be especially challenging—but together, we can make a difference.
Everyone is welcome to join the Turkey Trot, whether you live in Del Valle or beyond! You can help provide 500 holiday meal kits to families in need:

Run – Be one of 300 runners raising funds to support our turkey drive. Families and strollers welcomed!

Give – Bring canned goods to our intake station to directly help families put food on their tables.
Every step, every donation, and every canned good helps keep families fed and brings hope to our community. Let’s make sure no family goes hungry this holiday season!

Our goals
Turkey Kits
One of our major goals is to provide Turkey Dinners to 500 families this year which will include a turkey or ham, canned goods, and a pie. This is 100 more than last year!
Attendees
Have over 250 Turkey Trot attendees! Whether you're running the 5K or cheering for your kid in the 100M dash all are welcomed!
Causes
Raise over $20,000 for our winter initiatives. In addition to our turkey trot we are raising funds for our winter toy and gear drive for families in the area.
